Position: Senior Analyst, Seller Planning

Duties: Conduct in-depth data analysis through regular business reviews on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, tailored to the specific requirements of the business using Looker for data-driven decision making. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to explore diverse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a more thorough understanding of business dynamics. Translate business requirements into actionable projects, activities, and tasks, bridging the gap between business needs and effective solutions. Collect data requirements, design and develop queries, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly visualizations (reports, dashboards, etc.) that will support the commercial team. Drive cross-functional alignment by presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner with data visualizations, charts, and presentations using advanced Excel functions. Prepare regular and ad-hoc sales reports for process improvement initiatives using Looker. Communicate complex data concepts and insights using presentations and dashboards to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in. Increase efficiency by automating manual processes, applying statistical analysis methods, optimizing data delivery through Tableau or Looker (advanced looker functions such as Merge Query and Table calculations, custom fields, and filters), preplanning for the campaign, and providing better item assortments. Evaluate event and campaign performance, manage growth strategies, and deliver daily and post-campaign recaps using reporting tools such as Tableau or Advanced Excel Reporting. Communicate technical material clearly to a range of audiences and build narratives that provides insight into the factors impacting business performance. Implement understanding of relational database performing root cause analysis on changes in the metrics and processes to answer specific business questions on internal data and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and create serve-serve tools using Looker, Excel, SQL and or LookML. Ensure strong data governance, documentation and communication of analyses and methodologies.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics, management consulting, or related field.

Skills required: Experience with one of the following: SQL or other databases, scripting, or business intelligence tools. Experience developing analytical models using spreadsheet software and retrieving inputs from relevant sources. Experience using Presto and SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Experience generating and distributing reports and dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights. Experience leading training sessions on Business Intelligence (BI) tools for dashboarding, report utilization, and enabling self-guided analysis. Experience working with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather data-related needs, and provide data-driven solutions. Experience communicating complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders and ensuring understanding and buy-in. Experience creating automated dashboards for self-serve tools using Looker for data-decision making. Experience managing growth strategies and creating daily, post-campaign recaps of performance using Tableau or Excel. Experience automating data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes using Tableau Prep or advanced Excel. Experience extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to uncover insights and trends using ETL tools. Experience creating data visualizations using Tableau or advanced Excel functions, including PowerQuery, XLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH) to help stakeholders understand complex data and make informed decisions. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $82,763/year to $132,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
