Job Title: Senior Analyst, Treasury Product Control
Job Description
As a Senior Analyst in Treasury Product Control, you will be responsible for producing daily P&L and Risk reporting for Front Office, Finance, and Risk Management using sophisticated analysis and modeling techniques across multiple systems. You will ensure the accuracy of booked trades, investigate discrepancies, and resolve a diverse range of issues to meet daily reporting requirements. Your role will include providing guidance and training to new analysts and contributing to departmental goals through key initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
+ Produce timely and accurate analyses for profit and loss, risk, and economic revenue reporting.
+ Apply daily control procedures to ensure reporting accuracy and obtain Front Office P&L sign-off.
+ Confirm and reconcile closing market positions to provide Front Office with accurate hedging information.
+ Partner with Accounting to produce reconciliations as required.
+ Meet and exceed documented Service Level Agreements with business partners.
+ Maintain understanding of organizational controls and processes to adhere to regulatory requirements.
+ Review and verify supporting documentation for month-end attestation package completeness.
+ Coordinate resolution of reporting issues across multiple teams.
+ Summarize findings and recommendations to management and take preventative actions.
+ Conceive, plan, and lead assigned project streams, providing subject matter expertise.
+ Gather business requirements for automation improvements and document recommendations.
+ Support the launch of new products by interacting with Treasury Front Office, Technology, and other relevant teams.
+ Develop and maintain relationships across Finance and Front Office.
+ Stay proactive and self-disciplined to deliver quality results.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5+ years of Treasury Control experience within Financial Services, specifically in Product Control.
+ Experience in financial instruments valuation including derivatives, fixed income securities, and money market instruments.
+ Strong skills in investigations and strategy.
+ Proficiency in reconciliations, analysis, P&L, and risk management.
+ Background in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Finance.
+ Pursuing professional designation qualifications such as MBA, CPA, CFA, or FRM.
+ Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, SQL, Power BI, and Alteryx.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience leading projects and programs with strong automation skills.
+ Experience in new product launches.
+ Accounting background .
+ Familiarity with Bloomberg and Macros.
+ Knowledge of CFA, Reconciliation, Banking, Treasury management, Journal entry, Risk, Reporting, General ledger, Variance, Fixed income securities, month-end processes, Regulatory Reporting, Capital Markets, Financial reporting, Data analytics, SQL, Hedge accounting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
