The Customer Property Team supporting Collins Aerospace, Mission Systems Business Unit, based in Windsor Locks, CT has an opening for a self-motivated Customer Property Compliance who is a team player able to support company compliance to customer & government property requirements, and the property organization’s procedures and processes.  This person will work closely with the central property organization, Government customer, Prime customers, Government auditing agencies, and internal stake holders.

What You Will Do

Position reports directly to site Customer Property Manager

Responsible for compliance to contract requirements, regulations and RTX/Collins/Site policies and procedures for managing customer property

Responsible for the management, including transactional activity and reporting for designated programs and/or activities

Interface with functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures

Support internal and third party assessments/audits and drive corrective actions identified resulting from those activities

Establish, implement and monitor designated business plans assigned by management

Responsible for generating and providing accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customers

Responsible for performing all property closeout activities including any disposition actions and/or loss of customer property reports for assigned programs

Responsible for routinely assessing procedures and provide suggestions for streamlining and improving processes

Ability to conduct scheduled and ad-hoc property management compliance and awareness training sessions at all levels

Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practices

Partner with Contracts management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed for assigned contracts/programs

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and ability to read and understand regulatory requirements

Previous Government property experience preferred

National Property Management Association Certification preferred

Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience with SAP (or comparable ERP system) transactions; MS SharePoint; Sunflower

Physical inventory and material handling experience is preferred

Effective writing and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment and drive change

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
