Job Description

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Analyst, FP&A within its Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness (PCW) Segment. Reporting to the Director, this critical and highly visible role supports the Planning/Consolidations and Capital pillars of the FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE). This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with leadership. Additionally, it impacts strategic decision making and sustainable long-term earnings growth through support of stakeholders in all aspects of capital financial and performance management.


Major Responsibilities

                  Planning Pillar:

Support consolidation of PCW’s annual operating plan and annual strategic plan preparation including socialization and formal business reviews with leadershipWork with Finance Leadership, Business leads, Enterprise FP&A, Enterprise Strategy, and the Investor Relations team to play a key role in supporting quarterly earningsPreparation of reporting packages, formal business reviews, Board of Directors, and other leadership presentationsRoutinely work cross-functionally with multiple functions, both internal and external to the segment such as Enterprise FP&A, Strategy, Treasury, Investor Relations, etc. in support of various presentations and initiativesSubject matter expert as it relates to all SAP S-4 matters and other system related mattersDrive enhancements to current planning and analysis processes to increase efficiency

Capital Pillar:

Collaborate with other business areas to understand their financial needs, gather relevant data, and assist in the creation of annual operating plan, annual strategic plan, and quarterly forecastsAnalyze actual performance versus expectations, assessing the impact of different initiatives, and recommending appropriate actionsSupport consolidation of results, and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packagesReporting and tracking of Initiatives, and own various KPI dashboards to help drive performance monitoringCoach and Mentor team members

*Responsibilities within the CoE can be expected to change in accordance with business needs*

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years relevant finance work experience and prior FP&A experience in a similar large publicly traded organizationAbility to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Preferred Qualifications

Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization under tight deadlinesExperience engaging with executive leadership including strong logical reasoning and storyboarding to impact decision-makingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to influence key stakeholders. within and outside the finance functionAttention to detail is a critical success factor for this roleDemonstrated ease operating in a high paced and fluid environmentDemonstrated sense of comfort working with imprecise dataPrior experience with products such as SAP S4, Hyperion, Essbase, Anaplan, etc.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
