Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics
The Sr. Commercial Analytics Analyst is responsible for supporting revenue performance goals and helping shape business decisions through data analytics. This role supports building the company and market performance narrative through analysis and data visualization. This role will be a subject matter expert for market performance and requires a blend of technological capability and creativity to build useful reports and dashboards for executive consumption. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Owns and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs and evolves as necessary to support business needs. + Validate data insights through audit analysis to ensure the highest accuracy of reporting outputs. + Act as an internal consultant in forecasting, market share assessment, and customer insights to support commercial initiatives to maximize margin performance. + Responsible for ad-hoc analyses to identify performance insights for the commercial team. + Incorporate the latest analytics technologies to drive efficiency and ease of analytical capabilities. + Support monthly executive reporting updates and revenue/market performance narrative. + Support annual budget and quarterly forecasting process. + Act as project lead for sales, marketing, and regional revenue management teams reporting needs – extract business requirements, identify key success metrics, and communicate timelines. + Act as liaison for the broader organization for providing market and revenue performance insights. **Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:** + N/A **Minimum Education and/or Experience:** + Masters level degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing Analytics, or related analytical field + 3-5 years experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or analytics. **Additional knowledge and skills:** + SQL and/or R programming experience + Experience with Tableau data visualization reporting + Strong abilities in verbal and written communication, presentation of complex concepts, and partnering skills + Understanding Revenue Management concepts (i.e., demand forecasting, segmentation, dilution, displacement, etc.).
