What is the opportunity?
Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are the 10th largest bank worldwide and the 5th in North America, as measured by market capitalization. They are among a small group of highly rated global banks and are recognized time and time again for our financial strength, market leadership and philanthropic work.
Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.
Working Hours : 3pm-12am / 4pm-1am
Region : Channel Islands
What will you do?
Act as the deputy for the supervisor of data management and undertake effective monitoring / controlling of all areas to ensure the smooth running of the team.Provide support and expert cover for the administrators’ processing/responsibilities when required to ensure all urgent outstanding work is completed.Always look to identify efficiencies and make enhancements to the processes and procedures in order to meet the various needs of the business and any new legislation, this will ensure that the optimal level of accuracy and consistency of data/client reporting is maintained.Ensure the accurate daily completion / authorisation of all tasks on the Data Management checklistsSet up all securities accurately within agreed time constraints, prioritising urgent requestsEstablish, verify and accurately input prices, ensuring optimal number of holdings are on supported pricing SEDOLsEnsure the satisfactory resolution of all requests.Assist in monitoring / correction of all security static data, nominal transaction posting when moving client positions, which adversely affect valuationsProactive correction of all Milvus and AAA data that effects valuations.You will ensure the accurate daily synchronize of our databases with ICE, monitoring of their data accuracy and maintenance of our ICE error log including satisfactory resolutionWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline preferredMinimum of 3 years working experiences in the Securities Industry, together with a good understanding of other operational areasNice-to-have
Should be systems literate possessing good keyboard skills & a thorough and methodical approach to accurate processing of dataMust possess good communication skills, both written & verbalFamiliarity with Milvus & Bloomberg.What’s in it for you?
