Bowhead is hiring a Senior Administrative Support Specialist to support the PM CAS contract in Picatinny, New Jersey.

Responsibilities Provide senior-level administrative support to the program office. Performs review of documentation in accordance with applicable policy.  Manages office operational calendars and facilitates and coordinates meetings, distributes minutes/actions.  Provides electronic database filing as required and assists office with administrative tasks such as travel planning and accountability reporting. Provide senior-level administrative support to successfully fulfill the complexity of the tasks.Will be the first point of contract within each division/area of operations for administrative matters and communications with PM, DPM, and Divisions Chiefs.Support annual program office reporting by performing database electronic filing.Possess knowledge of Army Regulation 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence, and apply direct knowledge to document reviews.Research DoD, Army and local policy to ensure appropriate policy applies to current projects, documents, taskings, issues and concerns.Generate reports through the Army Enterprise Portal Mespace system to include monthly acquisition reports, metric data, and document staffing status reports, as required.Review and provide recommendations for updates to internal PM/DPM office procedures, as required.Consolidate information and assist in preparation and review of correspondence from PM, DPM, and program office divisions.Receive/possess administrative rights to conference room calendars and assist and coordinate meeting planning and scheduling with office personnel.Manage the operational schedules for program office divisions and facilitate/coordinate division monthly reviews and distribute agenda, as required.Coordinate and review briefing material to support program reviews.Attend program office division monthly review and track program issues/actions and disseminate summaries/minutes, as required.Assist PM office personnel in making travel arrangements.Support accountability reporting for aggregation and submittal to headquarters.

 

 

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Possess knowledge of DoD and Army policy and office procedures.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
