Salary: $16.04 - $25.75 per hour commensurate with experience. Job Description Summary: This position will be responsible for providing general assistance to one or more attorneys in the Institutional Compliance section of the Office of General Counsel. Responsibilities:- Review incoming correspondence for responses required, deadline dates, scheduling of meetings, etc.- Prepare standard letters and forms and draft routine correspondence. - Prepares draft significant matter reports. - Finalize attorneys' correspondence, legal opinions, contracts, reports and other legal documents. - Prepare responses to subpoenas.- Maintain detailed database file on each active file, including all incoming and outgoing correspondence.- Maintain attorneys' calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.- Coordinate attorneys' travel arrangements, prepare travel and leave forms, and submit expenses for attorneys' reimbursement.- Answer telephone, direct requests and/or take messages. - Prepare conference rooms and setup for meetings. - Greet clients/visitors.- Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Six years of related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.- Interpersonal and communication skills. - Planning and organization skills. - Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
