Senior Administrative Assistant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support leaders within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)—a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment supporting investment bankers and senior leadership.

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, managing complex priorities, maintaining momentum across multiple initiatives, and helping the team operate at its highest level. This is an opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys bringing structure, precision, and foresight to their work.


In this role, you will:

Support performance of less experienced Administrative Assistance staff and overall effectiveness of team in performing moderately complex to complex administrative tasksBe responsible for compiling information, preparing moderately complex reports, and balancing routine general ledger lines or expense accountsPerform complex administrative, transactional, operational, or customer support tasksProvide a high level of professional support which includes a balance of more experienced level administrative work as well as ongoing ad hoc and project or business initiatives such as planning meetings, tracking deliverables and pulling routine reportsAssist with selectively referring callers, and answering questions regarding business unit policies and proceduresProvide subject matter expertise and interpretation of administrative procedures to less experienced staffProvide administrative supervision and support to managers in the areas of reporting, customer or business documentationInteract with immediate Administrative Assistant team, functional area, and internal peers regarding routine administrative tasksSupport more experienced level leaders with daily administrative tasks and interact with more experienced leaders across the organization


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Administrative Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Experience supporting investment bankersAbility to follow policies, procedures, and regulationsAbility to handle confidential material in a professional mannerAbility to read and interpret legal documentsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsHighly proficient in drafting and proof-reading written documents utilizing proper grammar, punctuation, and spellingStrong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating error.High level of motivation, demonstrated ability to be proactive and adaptable to change; leads self and others through changeAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentAbility to manage changing travel itineraries, accurately manage expense reimbursement, manage a busy calendar and appointments flawlesslyAbility to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate mannerAbility to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environmentDemonstrated leadership in identifying and implementing process efficiencies and sharing best practices with others in order to improve the overall effectiveness of the teamExcellent technical skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$34.62 - $52.40
