Position SummaryJoin a dynamic, high-performing actuarial team supporting CVS Health and Aetna’s government services pharmacy business.This role is primarily responsible for analyzing and modeling market dynamics for Aetna’s Medicare Part D business and providing actuarial support to key business partners.The colleague will:Support development and maintenance of models and processes to assess internal bids placement in the market and actuals against expectations.Support development of Aetna’s Medicare Part D bids and forecasts while effectively communicating results.Partner with non-actuarial business partners to align on modeling assumptions and recommendations.Effectively balance and manage competing priorities.Act as a subject matter expert on assigned projects and concepts.Leverage technical skills and critical thinking to design and achieve business solutions.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree along with 1 year related experience2 SOA exams passedPrior healthcare experience requiredExperience with Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelExperience with GCP, SAS, SQL, R, Python a plus, working with large and detailed data sets is requiredStrong communication skillsSolid technical/analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a constantly evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Preferred QualificationsPrior Pharmacy, Part D, or Medicare Advantage experience
EducationBachelor's Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
