Job Summary

KBR requires a Senior Acquisition SME to lead Air Force contracts and provide acquisition expertise to  Senior level leadership at Robins Air Force base. This candidate will work directly with the contract and customer leadership and will manage cost, schedule, performance, resources, and contract risk.  This is a supervisory position and is considered part of the KBR Air Force Acquisition operating unit leadership team.  Communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Recommend, track, and meet/exceed contract revenue/profit goalsWork with KBR’s functional offices to ensure smooth execution of contract, sub-contract, invoices, pricing, and other Project/Program Management functionsMaintain and grow relationships with Government program manager, Alternate Contract Officer Representative (ACOR), and technical points of contact/project managersWork closely with KBR program managers, directors, and executives to ensure timely reporting of issues, risks, and opportunitiesHiring, retaining, and managing a multi-functional team to meet contract and customer requirementsDevelop and maintain a proactive project management planMaintain and set KBR’s Quality Management System for Project Management goals and reportingMeet assigned contract requirementsWork with KBR leadership to support strategic goals, pop-up projects and process improvement eventsProvide significant support to future KBR proposalsIdentify and pursue new work and new customersTravel: Limited travel may be required.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business administration or equivalent experience25 years’ experience in Acquisition and program management, contract interpretation, budget development, and administration of government projects.DoD Clearance Requirement: Secret 

Desired Qualifications / Skills:

Master’s degree in engineering, science, business administrationActive or eligible for TS/SCI clearanceDAWIA Level II Program management certificationExperience managing complex projectsExperience working in AFLCMC
