Senior Accounting Associate
Job Title: Accounting Associate Job Description The Accounting Associate will be responsible for accounting activities that support the Corporate Accounting group. The role encompasses a variety of accounting tasks including account analyses and reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and preparation of schedules for internal and external auditors. Additionally, the position involves various functional accounting-related duties. Responsibilities + Manage the monthly accounting close process and ensure accurate financial reporting + Prepare account reconciliations and analyze variances + Maintain financial controls and meet quality standards + Work with teams across FP&A, Asset Planning, Sourcing, and Tax + Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations + Help document and test SOX controls for the Accounts Payable process + Partner with Genpact to complete close activities and deliver reliable services Essential Skills + Reconciliation + AP experience + Variance Analysis + SAP Experience or any large ERP experience + Successful execution of month end/quarter end close activities, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations + Responsible for the GR (goods receipt)/IR (invoice receipt) Reconciliation process + Preparation/Review of supporting documentation for property tax and sales & use tax filings Additional Skills & Qualifications + Education: Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience Work Environment The position offers remote work, preferably with proximity to Tampa. Working hours are from 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code is business casual. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
