We are seeking a highly experienced Senior GL Accountant with minimum 5years of progressive accounting experience, including expertise in general ledgeraccounting, financial reporting and process improvement. This role requires a Basicunderstanding of U.S. GAAP / IFRS with moderate analytical skills. The idealcandidate will act as a subject matter expert for the allocated areas to ensure theaccuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGOwn and manage cash & bank transactions, including daily postings, reconciliations, and related entries.Record and reconcile credit card transactions and statements and ensureAccurate expense coding and timely posting of credit card expensesAssist with maintaining the general ledger and posting journal entries for Prepaid amortization and Depreciation on Fixed Assets.Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and timing differences within the set month close timelines. Perform high-level balance sheet and P&L analysis, including identifying missing accruals, month on month variances and providing insights to senior leadership.Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Payroll teams to clear the open items in a timely manner. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and ensure audit readiness with clean and accurate reconciliations and supporting documentation.Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and schedules as required.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance (CA or CMA fully orpartly qualified are strongly preferred) Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Exposure:Experience in Tech Industry or a Captive Shared Services is highly desirableKnowledge of tools such as Floqast, Concur, NetSuite or any other ERP of similar standard
