STV is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week in office) and can be located in one of the following offices: Atlanta, GA, Douglassville, PA, Philadelphia, PA, or Charlotte, NC. Note that there will be period travel needed to our Douglassville office as needed.
Job responsibilities include:
Support the company's income tax process, including the preparation of financial information for external service providersPrepare and/or review federal and multistate income and franchise tax returnsCoordinate timely tax payments to various income tax authorities.Maintain, review, and reconcile tax accounts, and proactively resolve discrepanciesPrepare various indirect tax returns, such as sales and use, personal property, business licenses and other tax filingsConduct technical research to address tax issuesSupport company tax audits, respond to tax notices, and facilitate timely resolution of other tax matters under the guidance of the Sr.Tax ManagerServe as a resource for tax department management, assisting with day-to-day issues and inquiries arising from all company areasCompletes other special projects as assignedRequired Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, supported by a minimum of 6 years' work experience as a corporate accountant or 3 years' work experience in public accountingActive CPA license in your work state requiredStrong organizational & communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to meet highly detailed reporting requirementsEffective prioritization and multitasking skills, especially under tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite of productsCompensation Range:
