Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and compliance with internal controls. We are looking for a proactive leader to guide the team through process improvements and problem-solving initiatives.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.Analyze financial statements and provide variance explanations.Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.Essential Skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Public Accounting experience, 2-4 years in audit.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting environment.Experience with Power BI.Work Environment
The work schedule includes being in the office from Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work available on Monday and Friday. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring adaptability and effective time management.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
