Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAnalyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvementConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesCollaborate with colleagues to streamline financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunitiesStay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practicesAccuracy, attention to detail, excellent listening, verbal and written communication skillsQuarterly reports to department managers Sales tax returnCash for costSkills & Qualifications
•\tBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
•\tStrong knowledge of Generally accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
•\tProficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
•\tExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy
•\tAbility to multitask and meet tight deadlines
•\tEffective communication and interpersonal skills
•\tPrevious experience in a similar role is a plus
•\tStrong work ethic and a high level of integrity
•\tAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suwanee, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
