Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: Crash Champions is looking for a talented and motivated individual to be a key player in the Accounting Team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining effective and accurate controls & reporting over their assigned General Ledger accounts.  This teammate will be responsible for preparing regular and ad hoc reporting of various functions.  This would include identifying and implementing changes to continuously drive best in class processes, working cross functionally across the organization.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

 

General Ledger Management:

 Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

 Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with senior accountants, managers, and other department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts.

Internal Controls:

Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Audit Support:

Coordinate and support internal and external audits.Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.Streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Provide meaningful variance analysis and insights to senior management.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or FinancePrevious experience in public accounting, consulting, or corporate accountingStrong communicator, capable of working with peers and senior managementStrong analytical thinkerIndependent, self-starter that works well in team environmentCapable of quickly adapting to changeProficiency in MS Office products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS ExcelStrong attention to detailDeep understanding of internal controls and segregation of dutiesAbility to work cross functionally and act as a liaison with all levels of organization and external business partnershipsAbility to adapt in fast-paced environmentsBonus: Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or similar platforms.
