Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. This role is pivotal in managing financial accounting, preparing financial statements, and overseeing period close processes. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting operations and executive leadership on various business issues and projects, as well as contributing to the professional development of team members.
Responsibilities
Manage financial accounting, statement preparation, and period close processes, including journal entries and accruals.Monitor and reconcile cash and FF&E balances with lending institutions.Prepare and submit sales/use tax returns and process payments.Engage in strategic planning processes and support budgeting efforts.Partner with operations leaders for financial statement reviews.Manage cash accounts, investor reporting, and quarterly distribution processes.Contribute to professional development training for team members.Identify opportunities for process improvement and maintain a 'continuous improvement' mindset.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience.Certified Public Accountant (Current or In-Process; Highly Preferred).Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.Proficiency in MS Office suite.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree in business, accounting or finance (Highly Preferred).Experience in a public accounting firm or hospitality industry (Preferred).Experience with M3 accounting platform is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations.Work Environment
The role will initially be 100% onsite with a transition to a hybrid schedule offering one remote workday after the initial training period. The standard work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, with an early office closure at 1 PM during the summer. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
