Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:
+ Validate and record all invoices and credit transactions accurately.
+ Review and process customer invoices/accounts receivable, submit via email or portal, and update associated worksheets.
+ Coordinate and administer the collection process for past due accounts.
+ Calculate sales commissions and process payments for credit cards and employee expense reports.
+ Process bank transactions, deposits, and general ledger entries.
+ Troubleshoot customer inquiries, discrepancies, and problems.
+ Maintain customer and vendor databases, relations, and ensure tax documents are up to date.
+ Ensure accuracy and maintain documentation for each machine sold, from order to cash.
+ Collaborate with Parent Company on outstanding AR/AP issues, questions, and requests.
+ Review, validate, and submit 1099s via an online app.
+ Calculate and submit annual sales & use tax filings and payments.
+ Submit annual business filing with the MN Secretary of State.
+ Collaborate with the accounting firm on the annual review process and tax returns, ensuring adherence to state rules.
+ Work on cash flow, projects, issues, process improvements, and expense reductions.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in GAAP.
+ Experience with month-end processes.
+ Strong general ledger management skills.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
+ 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
+ 2+ years of experience with NetSuite.
+ Accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
