Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
•\tAssist with monthly general ledger close and manage audit schedules.
•\tPerform general ledger entries, account reconciliations and month-end accruals.
•\tProvide analysis of financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
•\tManage audit schedules, including leases and fixed assets.
•\tReview revenue postings, including manufacturer-direct invoicing.
•\tPost payroll entries and manage schedules for vendor incentives.
•\tDrive process improvement in Accounts Payables and migration to paperless workflow.
•\tAssist with vouchering, receipt matching and purchase order discrepancy resolution.
•\tConduct periodic review of vendor and freight carrier invoices.
•\tCreate and deliver invoices for direct-ship customers and third-party freight.
•\tResolves outstanding invoice discrepancies with buyers or vendors as needed.
•\tPrioritize vendor payments and assist with assigning cash disbursement priorities.
•\tFacilitate vendor communications.
•\tSet up and manage weekly check, ACH and wire transactions.
•\tProtect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
•\tContinually look for opportunities to collaborate with and mentor team members as well as help the department improve.
•\tUpdate job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.
•\tAssist with other accounting department needs as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of applicable AR, AP, General Ledger and sales tax process.
Experience with ERP systems; AS400-based systems a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of high-volume, full cycle accounting experience required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.89 - $60.10/hr.
