Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage month-end closing processes, journal entries, fixed assets, accruals, account reconciliations, inventory reporting, and POC journals. Additionally, this role involves performing AP reserve analysis, inventory/warranty reserve analysis, and assisting with audit activities for a recently acquired company.
ResponsibilitiesConduct month-end close processes within a five-day window.Prepare and post journal entries.Manage and account for fixed assets.Perform accruals and account reconciliations.Compile inventory reports.Handle percentage of completion (POC) journals.Conduct AP reserve analysis and inventory/warranty reserve analysis.Assist in audit preparation and activities.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant managing month-end close, journal entries, fixed assets, accruals, and account reconciliations.Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas.Experience with a large ERP system such as SAP or Oracle.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Made to Manager ERP system.Familiarity with Great Plains software.Experience in mergers and acquisitions.Industry experience in C&IP.Work Environment
The position requires working onsite for five days a week in a cubicle setting. You will be part of a close-knit team of six, reporting to the accounting manager. The office culture is friendly and personable, with team members often enjoying lunch together.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
