Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role involves managing and overseeing various accounting and financial functions, including financial statement preparation and complex journal entries, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee financial functions, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while maintaining accurate financial records.Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts, including inventory accounts.Support external audits and work with the VP of Finance to complete audit requests and questions.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting, general ledger, and reconciliation.Experience with month-end closing processes.Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and balance sheets.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.3+ years of experience in a general accounting role.Additional Skills & QualificationsCPA Certification or Graduate Business Degree is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $40.00/hr.
