Senior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage and enhance our financial systems. This role involves preparation and posting of journal entries, analysis, and reporting of general ledger reconciliations, and supporting monthly and year-end closings. You will assist in publishing and maintaining financial reports and statements, manage capital expenditure administration, and ensure data integrity within our ERP system.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and efficiently.Fixed Asset / Lease AccountingAnalyze and report assigned general ledger account reconciliations.Assist with monthly and year-end closings, including processing assigned accruals and reviewing financial reports.Publish and maintain financial reports and statements.Administer capital expenditure processes, including fixed asset processing and reporting.Manage treasury, intercompany, and expense reporting transactions across business segments.Maintain data integrity and code part hierarchy within the ERP system.Coordinate efforts with broader accounting teams including finance, tax, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost, and payroll.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in fixed asset management and lease accounting.Experience in preparing journal entries and reconciliations.Strong understanding of month-end processes and general ledger management.3+ years of Accounting experienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldStaff or advanced level experience in fixed assets.Lease accounting experience is highly desirable.Experience with Sage and/or IFS is preferredAdvanced MS Excel ExperienceWillingness to work contract position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.
