Description

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting in the month end close process, preparation of financial statements and day-to-day bookkeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and accounting consistent with GAAP and the companies policies and procedures.Monitor month-end close progress to ensure deadlines are met.Identify process improvements in the accounting department and play a key role in improvement initiatives.Prepare Wisconsin and out-of-state sales tax returns.Manage corporate credit card process.Prepare Amazon and eBay reconciliations.Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and other general bookkeeping tasks as needed.Miscellaneous payroll processing functions.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience in a managerial accounting role preferred.Accounting experience to include journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial statement preparation.Knowledge of and proficiency in GAAP.Ability to perform a volume of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy, including 10-key calculator proficiency.Excellent analytical and communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.Excellent computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Netsuite experience a plus.Ability to adapt quickly and work independently

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
