Senior Account Administrator
Our client, a respected and growing commercial insurance brokerage, is seeking a Senior Account Administrator to support their Broking Services & Account Administration team. This role works closely with Account Executives and the broking team to support the placement, renewal, and servicing of commercial insurance accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Assist with preparing submissions and marketing commercial accountsSupport renewal and quoting processes; bind coverage with underwritersPrepare proposals, certificates, endorsements, invoices, and financing agreementsFollow up with clients and insurers on outstanding informationMaintain accurate client files, expiry lists, and documentationReview policies against binders/quotes for accuracySupport claims reporting and client communicationWork with accounting on receivables and reconciliation issuesHandle SOVs, equipment schedules, and policy documentationProvide backup support to team members during absencesDeliver strong internal and external customer service and communicationQualifications
Minimum 12 months of insurance experienceLevel 1 General Insurance license (or equivalent with ability to obtain BC license)Commitment to obtaining Level 2 within 6–12 monthsExperience with commercial insurance (CGL, property, equipment breakdown)Strong understanding of certificates of insurance, SOVs, invoicing, and policy checkingFamiliarity with MGAs, Lloyd’s, and specialty markets is considered an assetEPIC broker management system experience is an assetExcellent communication, organization, and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong teamwork mindset with a proactive and professional approach
