Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and leveraging data to drive business decisions and deliver actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, develop business cases, and translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate data sources, perform initial data quality checks, and ensure data is fit for purpose.Support the development and execution of data strategies, ensuring alignment with business value and data governance standards.Translate business requirements into actionable projects, activities, and tasks aligned with overall business strategy.Serve as a conduit between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing recommendations and developing business cases for data-driven projects.Formulate and solve business problems using analytics, big data, and automation techniques.Create compelling data visualizations using tools such as Python, R, Tableau, PowerBI, and more.Mentor junior associates on data storytelling and visualization best practices.Promote and manage data quality, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring data quality metrics.Conduct exploratory data analysis using SQL, Python, Excel, and other relevant tools.Apply statistical techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and build basic statistical models.Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and distributed datastores.Strong understanding of data management, data quality, and data governance principles.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Python/R libraries).Experience with statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis techniques.Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Knowledge of industry best practices and business metrics across multiple domains (product, finance, marketing, sales, technology, HR).Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
