Job Title: Planner (Semiconductor Industry HIGHLY preferred)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Planner to manage consignment inventory stocking programs and oversee the business performance at our assigned location. This role involves traveling to customer locations to resolve warehouse product issues and effectively managing tactical requirements per customer agreements.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory at customer locations, including virtual cycle counting, replenishments, delivering, billing, and invoicing.Review and recommend adjustments to stocking levels.Proactively manage slow-moving and inactive inventory.Facilitate meetings with customers to develop new business opportunities.Collaborate with customer engineering to identify alternate sourcing opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.Assist the accounting department with TSM reconciliation questions or concerns.Maintain the SIMI database, ensuring it is active and up to date.Compile On-Time Delivery (OTD) reporting for all sites.Essential Skills
At least 2-3 years of supply chain experience, with a minimum of one year of experience in a related position at a prominent company.Experience in production planning, schedule planning, and semiconductor manufacturing.Proficiency in supply chain planning and procurement.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Experience with ERP systems, preferably Agile.Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, X-lookups, data extraction, and report generation.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is a plus.Experience with logistics or specific software skills within ERP systems is desirable.Availability for on-call duties 24/7 for on-site emergency issues.Schedule flexibility and strong time management skills.Work Environment
This position is primarily based in an office environment, with occasional work in a warehouse setting. The team currently comprises three planners, with a total of fifteen people within the supply chain department. The candidate must be flexible to be on call if there is an urgent request from a client. The role is onsite.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.87/hr.
