Segmentation Technician
Job Title: Segmentation Technician Job Description The Segmentation Technician will excel in producing high-quality Pre-Operative Plans, focusing on individual production efforts to meet team and departmental targets. Responsibilities + Create cases using a proprietary case management system. + Review CT Scans to ensure they conform to Surgical protocol. + Segment CT Scans with specialized software to create 3D Anatomical Bone Models for use in Robotic Surgery. + Develop Pre-Operative Surgical Plans using Digital Bone Models for robotically assisted Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. + Examine CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy in anatomical landmark selection, and implant sizing and positioning. + Upload completed Pre-plans to field-based personnel. + Document all activities according to prescribed methods and procedures. + Adhere to work instructions to deliver consistent output. Essential Skills + Proficiency in biomedical applications and computer-aided design (CAD). + Strong computer skills, including knowledge of design software, Adobe, and Photoshop. + Solid understanding of anatomy and graphic design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma required; Associate or higher degree preferred, ideally in a STEM-related field. + Minimum of 2 years of work experience in fast-paced or computer-oriented roles. + Proficiency in SolidWorks and scribe software is advantageous. Work Environment This is a 2nd shift position, from 3:30pm to 12am, Monday through Friday, with voluntary overtime up to 10 hours. During the holiday season, Saturdays are typically available and Sundays offer double time. The role is office-based in a relatively quiet atmosphere, requiring business casual dress attire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
