Segment Producer - Contract

Bloomberg Television is looking for a highly-motivated segment producer to join our market open show in a contract role.
You will be responsible for monitoring top market-moving stories daily, able to cover and respond to breaking news, work with other producers and anchors and help daily in the live control room. You should have broad interest and fundamental knowledge of markets, economics and how macro policy affects our key audience.
You embrace challenges, can make split-second decisions, get hands on with technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are an effective communicator across a global newsroom.
WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:Build a daily show that covers the top market-moving storiesBe proactive - pitch ideas, be creative, bring your expertise to the table and elevate our contentPitch newsmakers and storiesDevelop relationships within the business, finance communities globallyWork closely with the executive producer, senior producer, line producer and anchorsWork well under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environmentWrite, identify best video, graphics and produce interviews with newsmakersProduce breaking news Be able to pivot and react as news events evolveYOU'LL NEED TO HAVEBachelor's degree or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience producing for live TVKnowledge of business news and the financial markets.Problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressureFlexibility with hours Salary Range = 40 - 45 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
