**About the Role**
We’re seeking dedicated and detail-oriented **Seed Technicians** to join our team and support all aspects of seed production at our facility. This hands-on role involves both **indoor and outdoor tasks** , supporting seed processing, packaging, planting, and data collection. **What You’ll Do**
**Indoor responsibilities may include:**
+ Receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, and packaging seed
+ Labeling and warehousing seed products
+ Maintaining equipment and conducting preventive maintenance
+ Managing seed inventory with electronic systems (e.g., Excel or similar software)
**Outdoor responsibilities may include:**
+ Planting, pollinating, and hand-harvesting seed
+ Taking detailed notes and collecting data in the field using handheld and PC devices
**Additional duties:**
+ Follow all SOPs and site safety procedures
+ Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
+ Support extended hours during peak production seasons
**Who You Are**
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
+ Comfortable with physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, or sitting for extended periods
+ Able to follow verbal and written instructions in English
+ Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer systems
+ Basic mechanical ability and equipment troubleshooting a plus
**Additional Information**
+ This is a **non-driving** , **on-site** position
+ Role is classified under **Production**
+ May involve access to **export-controlled technology** (Bayer will assess licensing needs)
+ Shift starts daily at **6:00 AM**
