Security Technician
The Security Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security, fire, and access control systems in residential, commercial, and industria settings. This role ensures all systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, 1 cal codes, and company standards while providing excellent customer service.

Temp-to-Hire position$15.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm)Install, test, and program alarm, fire, and security systems including panels, ensors, wiring, and related components.
Inspect and troubleshoot existing systems for faults, wiring issues, or malfunctions.
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure proper system operation.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Mount and connect equipment such as motion detectors, keypads, control panels, and sirens. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. Train customers on proper system operation and basic troubleshooting. Complete installation and service documentation accurately and promptly. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure quality installations.Security Technician Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred.1-3 years of experience in alarm, electrical, or low-voltage installation (preferred).Working knowledge of fire and security systems.Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
