The Security Department is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and experienced individual to join the team as a Security Shift Supervisor. You will oversee daily security operations, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and park property. You will lead and manage a team of security personnel tomaintaina secure environment throughout the park.
Supervise and direct security personnel during your shift, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and efficientlyEnforce the rules and policies ofHurricane Harbor Phoenix, Six Flags Entertainment, State Laws, County and City Ordinances.Demonstrate and continually train the Cornerstones of Safety, Service, and Cleanliness and the Core Values of Integrity, Courtesy, and Inclusiveness to each Guest and Ambassador.Respond to emergencies promptly, evaluate the nature and severity of the situation, andactaccordingly, including calling forassistanceand interacting with local law enforcement and other EMS services if necessary.Perform routine patrols throughout the park tomonitorsafety and securityRespond to emergencies, including medical incidents, security threats, and guest disturbancesOversee the monitoring and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, alarms, and radio communicationsEnsure the security team is properly equipped, trained, and following proceduresDocument incidents, accidents, and other activities accurately in daily logsAssembles evidence andassistsin the questioning of suspects.Coordinates with Public SafetyManagementarrests and ejections made on his or her shift.Provide training and guidance to new security team membersConduct drills and review security policies regularlyHandle guest interactions and resolve conflicts in a professional mannerCollaborate with management to improve safety measures and operationsProvide oversight and subject matterexpertiseon assigned area of responsibility (i.e., training, records management, patrol operations, vehicle operations, emergency preparedness, guest screeningQualifications:Must be at least 21 years of age2 years Public Safety experience or backgroundHigh School or GED isa mustStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPossess the ability to handle confidential information without divulging contents to peers and coworkersAZDPS Security Guard License (preferred) Ability to remain calm and composed under pressureAble to handle confidential information responsiblyExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAble to work flexible/rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to pass background check and drug screening
