UMC is currently seeking a Security Receptionist for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is thoughtfully designed to provide person directed care in a home-like environment to ensure exceptional care and quality of life for our residents. Requirements for a Security Receptionist : + High School Diploma or equivalent + Two years of general clerical, telephone & typing experience + Some work experience as a security guard, watch person, firefighter or police o?cer preferred Responsibilities for a Security Receptionist : + Operates switchboard and answers all incoming calls in a timely/professional manner. + May make scheduled walkthroughs performing various activities such as turning o? lights/fans, securing exterior doors, etc. and is alert to any breach of security. + Reports any unusual conditions or malfunctions of building, i.e., het, plumbing, electrical systems, etc. and notifies appropriate personnel. + Manages emergency response call system. + Greets visitors and ascertains the nature of their visit; directs visitors appropriately. + Various clerical duties as assigned. May open, sort and distribute mail. Hands out employment applications. + Maintains logs related to front desk activities. + Monitors security cameras.
