As a Security Professional - Driving Patrol - Weekdays in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all occupants. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service. This post requires driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual observations.Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, offering assistance and guidance as needed.Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or onsite personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
