Security Operations Center Supervisor

Burlington Stores is a nationally recognized retailer of high quality, branded merchandise at everyday low prices, with over 1000 stores in 45 states and Puerto Rico, and we are in search of a Security Operations Center Supervisor to be part of our Asset Protection team in the Burlington Response and Investigation Center (BRIC)! This is Burlington’s version of a Security Operations Center (SOC). The BRIC is a premier security operations center with a flexible business model to help support the business through incident response and communication, weather and threat monitoring, as well as store & investigation support. **A Day In The Life** + The BRIC Supervisor is a multifaceted role, acting as a Process and Program Owner within the BRIC to facilitate oversight of Specialist execution of core functions: Event Intake and Monitoring, Information Management and Communication, Proactive Planning, and Investigative Support. + Execute best practices and processes to support the detection and mitigation of emerging risks and threats to enable crisis management. + Supervise BRIC Specialist production of communication updates on rapidly developing situations and provide guidance/review on communications. + Act as a source of direction in accordance with pre-established policy and procedure. + Support Managers with facilitation of Specialist engagement in wide-reaching investigative initiatives. + Leverage “Secure 5” exception-based reporting platform to identify behaviors that contribute to shrink and execute/supervise resulting investigations in accordance with processes. + Manage and participate in the execution of the external investigation case management process. + Communicate with cross functional field partners and keep Specialists and business partners accountable for providing appropriate updates and adhering to processes. + Oversee Specialist monitoring and response to alarm activity to ensure prompt response to incidents, and effective communication with relevant stakeholders. + Evaluate and execute the BRIC managed guard program, including leveraging CCTV systems to engage in the third-party guard auditing process. + Responsible for the maintenance and administration of tools used to execute the BRIC’s functions, including aggregation of needs and issues for escalation to vendors for resolution. **You'll Come With** + Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred (Criminal Justice, Communications, Finance, or Business). Candidates who do not have a degree must demonstrate a high level of expertise and proficiency in the desired skills and abilities. + Background and experience that provide an elevated understanding of relevant subject matter, common problems, and issues addressed in a physical security operations center environment. + Ability to operate in a collaborative team environment while providing direction and decision making in accordance with policy and procedure when a manager is not immediately available. + Ability to see problems, solutions, and results through multiple lenses (Safe and Secure, corporate, brand reputation). + Ability to work in a flexible scheduling environment as the needs of the business dictate (Nights/Weekend/Holidays) + Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Come join our team.
