You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and reports, and document activity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification, authorizations, and appointments, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and documenting visitor and delivery activity in logs or electronic systems.Screen and route inbound and outbound trucks and service vehicles by confirming bills of lading and shipping or receiving instructions, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting irregularities per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services, completing required reports, and preserving relevant information.Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations, and report maintenance or operational concerns observed during rounds.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
