As a Security Officer - Warehouse Screening in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by screening people and items entering the facility, checking identification and credentials, and monitoring entry points for security-related concerns. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site leadership. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Screen employees, visitors, and drivers for authorized entry by verifying identification, reviewing access credentials, and following screening protocols for prohibited items.Inspect incoming and outgoing packages, parcels, and freight areas as assigned, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations; report findings per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of site leadership, and documentation of actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as screening checkpoints, entry points, staging areas, and the perimeter, adjusting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
