As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Madison, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe operations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, trailer areas, parking lots, entry points and perimeter fencing; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors and visitors; help to deter unauthorized access and report concerns through the proper channels.Perform routine rounds inside and around shipping and receiving areas to observe for unusual activity, unsecured doors, broken seals, damaged gates and/or other conditions requiring follow-up.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, disturbances, medical events and/or property damage.Document observations, incidents, patrol activity and response actions in written reports and/or electronic systems according to Allied Universal and location requirements.Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow during peak shift changes, dock operations and/or special events by providing directions and reporting hazards or congestion.Communicate professionally with operations teams, drivers and/or third-party vendors to coordinate response and relay security-related information as needed.Use provided radios, phones and/or other equipment to maintain situational awareness and request assistance when necessary, following established escalation procedures.Minimum Requirements:
