As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet drivers and team members, support access control, respond to concerns, and document activity with clear communication. Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, including the yard, docks, parking areas and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entrances, gates and loading areas, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing visitors, drivers and contractors per site requirements.Observe and report unusual activity, damaged fencing, open doors, broken lights, suspicious packages and/or other conditions that may require attention.Monitor cameras, alarms and access control systems as assigned, and notify the appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when conditions warrant.Support shipping and receiving operations by maintaining order at driver check-in areas, assisting with traffic flow, and documenting trailer, seal and/or vehicle information when required by post orders.Complete routine reports, incident reports and shift logs with clear, accurate details, and escalate concerns through the chain of command in a timely manner.Provide assistance to employees and visitors with directions, general questions and service requests while maintaining a professional presence.Minimum Requirements:
