Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, credentials, and delivery or pickup documentation in accordance with post orders.Manage visitor, contractor, and driver check-in and check-out processes, including issuing temporary credentials and providing site directions as needed.Coordinate with warehouse operations and transportation teams regarding dock access, yard entry, trailer moves, and restricted area access as required.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other access control systems, reporting irregular activity and/or policy violations per site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, including documenting access activity, unusual conditions, and actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including exterior doors, gates, dock areas, and parking lots, as directed by site procedures.Assist with traffic flow at entrances, guard shacks, and yard areas during peak shipping and receiving times, helping to reduce congestion and maintain orderly access.Support loss prevention and policy compliance efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, unattended property, and restricted area access, and reporting concerns through the proper channels.Perform routine checks of doors, gates, fencing, and access control hardware, reporting maintenance issues and/or tampering indicators to the appropriate contacts.Minimum Requirements:
