As a Security Officer - Warehouse Gate Screener in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support a smooth flow of people and packages by conducting entry screening, checking credentials, observing activity, and documenting security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and help to reduce incidents through attentive presence and professional customer service. Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Screen individuals, bags, and/or packages as required by post orders, verifying identification and documenting entry and exit activity.Conduct access control at designated entrances, coordinating with operations staff to verify appointments, delivery documentation, and authorized access for vehicles and pedestrians.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing incident reports, and supporting on-scene response as directed.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other monitoring systems, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations.Perform regular and random patrols of interior work areas, dock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured doors, and suspicious conditions and reporting findings per post orders.Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic in assigned areas as needed to support orderly flow during peak shipping and receiving periods, including staging areas and gate lanes.Document daily activity and observations in written and/or electronic logs, maintaining accurate records of screenings, incidents, and administrative actions.Communicate professionally with Allied Universal management, site leadership, and emergency services as needed, following established escalation and reporting procedures.Minimum Requirements:
