As a Security Officer - Visitor Checkpoint in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a higher education location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support orderly visitor flow while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with students, staff, and guests. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.Control access at designated entry points by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes per policy, and directing individuals to the appropriate destination.Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or camera views as assigned, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus staff and/or public resources as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:
