As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine vehicle patrols to help maintain a welcoming environment. You will stay visible, respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.Monitor access points and verify visitor and contractor entry per site policy, issuing temporary credentials when authorized and directing individuals to appropriate locations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, calling for additional resources as needed, and completing required notifications.Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, including accurate log entries and follow-up information for Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
