Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.Assist visitors and employees with access procedures and provide guidance as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity, security-related hazards, or policy violations.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activity according to Allied Universal procedures.Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to security-related matters at the location.Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
