As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control for staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to concerns with clear communication, and deliver professional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points; working conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and loitering.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or fire and equipment alarms, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency services as directed.Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate shift activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
