As a Security Officer - Unarmed Weekdays Patrol Specialistin Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management and employee entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.Document security-related activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.Be at least 21+ years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Have Act 235 Qualification for Pennsylvania only.An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
