As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations by monitoring access points and reporting concerns. You will greet associates and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly with leadership, and document activity with attention to detail, reflecting Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and facility alarms.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, and drivers, verifying credentials as required and directing visitors to designated check-in locations.Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer drop lots and dock areas, noting suspicious behavior and/or unsecured doors, gates, and equipment.Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and two-way radios, and report irregular conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Document incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy observations in written reports, including accurate time, location, and actions taken.Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow during peak arrival, departure, and shift-change periods to help to reduce congestion and support orderly movement.Conduct checks of gates, fences, and exterior lighting during rounds and report damage, outages, and/or hazardous conditions to the appropriate contacts.Coordinate with emergency responders and facility personnel during medical events, fires, and other emergencies, following site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
