As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures and security-related policies within a healthcare location, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious behavior.Monitor access points and public areas, provide directions and general assistance, and report maintenance issues, damaged doors, and/or lighting concerns through established channels.Complete required reports such as incident logs, daily activity reports, and shift handoffs, using clear communication and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

This position is in a hospital setting where vaccines are required.Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
