As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrol in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related disturbances, visitor issues, and facility alarms, and/or escalations as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the exterior perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, and restricted-access zones.Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing foot traffic, challenging as appropriate per post orders, and directing individuals to the proper department or check-in location.Perform rounds to check doors, corridors, stairwells, and other common areas for unusual activity, unsecured openings, and/or policy concerns, and report findings per site procedures.Complete detailed incident reports and activity logs, documenting observations, patrols, and response actions per Allied Universal standards and site requirements.Coordinate with hospital staff and/or local emergency services during emergency events, assisting with scene control, traffic direction, and patient/visitor movement as directed by post orders.Assist with de-escalation of conflicts involving patients, visitors, and/or staff, using verbal communication techniques and requesting additional support when needed.Monitor and respond to camera views and alarm notifications when assigned, communicating observations to appropriate personnel per established communication protocols.Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while interacting with the public, supporting a positive environment through courteous, service-focused communication.Minimum Requirements:
