What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with directions, escorts, and/or de-escalation support as requested.Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the supervisor and/or site contacts, and help maintain accurate security-related logs and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
